Also, I want to give you a heads up for the Shadbolt's Fall Adult Dance Classes starting up in September. Although not visible online until July 13, the full list is below. Look for the * for the ones I am teaching. Check them all out. FYI - Registration opens up August 10 for Burnaby residents and August 14 for anyone else.

And, for dancers interested, qualified and available, the Continuum Dance Company is holding auditions September 10 for the 2026-2027 program. Check out the Audition Notice below and be sure to contact the Dance Programmer if you are interested and/or have any questions.

Kevin Bergsma has been teaching and creating contemporary dance, movement technique workshops, and regular modern dance classes for over twenty years, at: Vancouver’s, Harbour Dance Centre; international dance festivals; and Vancouver and Burnaby city arts and recreational centres. Experience and credits include: Co-Founder and Artistic Director of BUTOH-a-GO-GO, creating and performing for festivals and presentations across Canada, in the United States, Russia, Poland, and Japan. A multidisciplinary artist, Kevin’s creative forms include butoh, cabaret, dance, film and television, musical-theatre and opera. Other contemporary dance credits include work with: dancers Dancing; Kokoro Dance; LINK Dance; and Vancouver Dance Theatre.
